Welcome to The Human in Computing and Cognition THiCC Lab! This lab exists to study, understand, and sometimes reimagine ways that Computing and Cognitive systems exist in the context of humans, especially the Human. We do so primarily through developing computational cognitive models, studying existing computing systems and engineering new ones, and contextualizing sociocultural theory. When it comes to contextualizing our work with sociocultural theory, we tend to focus on perspectives that center blackness (and antiblackness).
